3rd Quarter AssignmentsBegin exploring professional literary magazines. Read work in your favorite genres and make notes in your AJ about the content. Also note if you recognize any of the published authors' names.
Propose a piece of new writing for you to work on this quarter. This should be a piece that will make you feel more accomplished as you finish the CFPA program. What have you wanted to accomplish but just not had the time or made the time? Begin thinking about the piece(s) of writing you will be willing to share with your families and friends at the Senior Showcase. This writing will need to be appropriate for a family audience. Class Links Although Active Voice is usually the best choice, you should know when it is acceptable to use Passive Voice. Review examples of sentences in Active and Passive Voice. Understand why you should most often choose Active Voice over Passive Voice. Consider submitting three to five poems to this journal. See submission guidelines on line. You must identify the art that inspired your writing. Lists writing friendly college programs and websites to support writers. Submit your work on line or postmark by February 15th.
